VERNON GIVERNY ... PASSIONATELY

ROISSY From Vernon, cross the Seine, turn right at the roundabout towards Giverny and Magny en Vexin. Go to Magny en Vexin on a small country road (26 km) (Be careful when near Gasny, do not miss the Magny en Vexin signs, first right and left soon after.) Just when arriving in Magny en Vexin, the road passes under a road-bridge: this is where you turn right onto the bridge and take N14 in the direction of Cergy - Pontoise. (If you miss the road and if you drive into Magny en Vexin, you can also find the Cergy - Pontoise signs there again.) About 15 km later N14 becomes a dual carriageway then A15: take Exit 7 clearly signposted 'Aéroport Charles de Gaulle - Roissy'. Continue straight on, the airport is 35 km away. Estimated time : 1h20 - 1h30, except if congested traffic but this is very rare.
ORLY From Giverny, come back to Vernon, at the roundabout, and turn left onto the bridge . keep to the right lane. When passing under the bridge, take the left line (signs : 'Paris - A13') Drive out of Vernon and about 10 km farther, at an important crossroads (steel mill on the left), bear right. (signs : 'Paris - A13') Once on A13, drive about 40 km (do not turn onto A14) as far as the junction with A12 signposted as follows: straight on: A13 Paris, on the right : A12 Saint Quentin - Créteil - Lyon Two routes are
possible from this place. A/ Continue on A13 to Paris. After the second tunnel, keep in the two right lanes that will take you onto 'Périphérique Sud' ( South ring road). Drive on towards Porte d'Orléans where you find A6 with 'Aéroport d'Orly' signs (another 8 km away then). B/ Take A12 on 6km and turn right onto N286 (becoming A 86 after a few kilometres) towards Vélizy - Villacoublay - Créteil - Lyon (No signs for Orly yet, they will appear in a few kilometres.) When you arrive at the junction with A6 , Orly airport is 4km away. (clearly signposted). Estimated time : from 1h30 to ??? This depends on the traffic which can be very heavy and congested at timesaround Paris. Expect 2h / 2h30 on either route (or perhaps even more on late Sunday afternoons and evenings.)
BEAUVAIS From Giverny,
return to Vernon as far as the roundabout, drive straight on (Beauvais
/ Gisors signs) Beauvais is
about 70 km away. Estimated time: 1h30 / 1h40 (no traffic jams)
